Valentine’s Day Paper Plate Heart Wreath Craft!
This super cute paper plate heart wreath craft for kids would be absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day. It’s easy and mostly no mess too!
With Valentine’s Day coming up soon, you might be looking for easy Valentine’s Day crafts for kids that are also not super messy.
I love this paper plate heart wreath craft because it is super cute and festive.. but also because it doesn’t have a lot of complicated steps. Whether you use heart stickers or cut out hearts, this craft goes together in less than 20 minutes and your kids will be able to do most, if not all, of it independently.
This craft idea would be great for a winter crafternoon, for a play date, a Girl Scout meeting, or even a daycare craft idea!
What you will need:
- Red paper plate
- Felt heart stickers
- Alternate to heart stickers– felt sheets in red, pink, and purple
- Pink ribbon
- Glue (glue sticks would work well for the hearts if you are not using heart stickers. Tacky glue for the ribbon)
How to Make the Heart Wreath!
- Cut the center out of the red paper plate.
- Attach the felt heart stickers to the tree, starting with larger hearts.
- If you don’t have heart stickers, or you only have smaller heart stickers, cut hearts of varying sizes out of the felt sheets.
- Attach non-stickers hearts to wreath with glue stick or tacky glue.
- Fill in the wreath with smaller hearts until the paper plate is completely covered.
- Attach a loop of pink ribbon to the back to hang the wreath.
