15 Best Disney World Snacks You Can’t Miss

From the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake and Nutella Fruit Waffle to Ronto Wraps and Bao Buns, these are my 15 favorite Disney World snacks, ranked.
Estimated reading time: 19 minutes
If there’s one thing I’ve learned after eating my way around Disney World, it’s this:
Some of the best food doesn’t come from a restaurant.
It comes from a little snack stand tucked into the corner of a park. Or a bakery hidden in the back of a pavilion. Or a walk-up window where you weren’t even planning to stop until something smelled too good to pass up.
Disney World has hundreds of snacks, and everyone has an opinion about which ones are the best.
Some people swear by the Dole Whip. Others won’t leave Magic Kingdom without a Mickey pretzel. And if you ask ten Disney fans for their favorite snack, you’ll probably get ten different answers.
After trying dozens of Disney snacks over the years, I’ve developed some pretty strong opinions of my own.
This isn’t a list of the most famous Disney snacks.
It’s a list of the snacks I’d actually be disappointed to miss if I were planning another Disney vacation.
Before we dive in, I should probably confess something.
Apparently, I have a serious sweet tooth.
I didn’t fully realize it until I finished ranking everything, but looking at this list, there’s a very obvious trend. If you combine pineapple with caramel, cream cheese, or ice cream, there’s a pretty good chance I’m going to love it. So yes…my number one snack is a pineapple dessert, and another pineapple dessert landed in my Top 5.
No regrets.
That said, don’t worry if you’re more of a savory snack person. Some of my absolute favorites are things like Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Bao Buns, Totchos, and the Ronto Wrap. In fact, several of these are substantial enough that you could easily turn them into lunch.
Speaking of that…
I’m defining “snack” a little loosely.
Some of these are classic grab-and-go treats. Others blur the line between snack and quick-service meal. The Ronto Wrap is probably the best example. Is it technically lunch? Maybe. Have I happily eaten one while wandering Galaxy’s Edge and called it a snack? Also yes.
If it’s something I’d happily grab between meals while exploring the parks, it made the list.
One more note before we get started. For this ranking, I intentionally limited myself to snacks you can find inside the four Disney World theme parks. Otherwise, this list would have gotten a whole lot harder. Case in point: the Mickey beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter. Those things are absolutely incredible, and if I were including Disney resort snacks, they’d almost certainly land somewhere in my Top 5. Since I haven’t worked my way through nearly as many resort snacks as I have park snacks, I didn’t think it would be fair to mix them together. So for now, this list is all about the best snacks you’ll find in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
And finally, every snack here is something I’ve personally eaten. There are still plenty of Disney snacks I haven’t tried yet, but I’m only ranking the ones I’ve actually tasted.
These are the snacks I still think about after I get home.

How I Ranked These Disney World Snacks
Ranking Disney snacks was honestly harder than ranking restaurants.
With a restaurant, I’m thinking about the entire experience. Was the food good? Was the atmosphere enjoyable? Would I make another reservation?
Snacks are different.
Some are delicious if you happen to walk past them.
Others are so good that I’d genuinely change my plans to make sure I had one during my trip.
That’s what separated the great snacks from the unforgettable ones.
As I put this list together, I kept coming back to one simple question:
If I could only eat fifteen Disney snacks on my next vacation, which ones would I choose?
That meant thinking about more than just flavor.
I also considered:
- Would I go out of my way to get it?
- Is it unique to Disney World?
- Is it something I still crave between trips?
- Would I recommend it to a first-time visitor?
- Is it worth the price?
- Does it make me smile every single time I eat it?
One other thing surprised me while putting this list together.
Hollywood Studios only has one snack in my Top 15.
That isn’t because Hollywood Studios has bad snacks—it absolutely doesn’t. I actually enjoy quite a few of them. But once I started comparing snacks across all four parks, the treats from Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom just kept edging them out.
Ironically, Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks for quick-service meals, but when it comes to iconic Disney snacks, the other three parks simply have more of my personal favorites.
And now…let’s get to the fun part.
15. Candied Bacon Skewer (Golden Oak Outpost – Magic Kingdom)

I’ll admit it—I wasn’t sure about this one.
Sweet bacon on a stick? It sounded like one of those snacks that would be fun for two bites and then become a little too much.
I was wrong.
The bacon is thick, smoky, and perfectly cooked, while the sweet glaze gives it just enough crunch without turning it into candy. It’s rich, so I wouldn’t necessarily want one every trip, but it’s a surprisingly satisfying snack if you’re looking for something that’s different from the usual Disney desserts.
Don’t miss: Grab one if you’re walking through Frontierland. It’s one of Magic Kingdom’s most underrated snacks.
14. Hushpuppies (Columbia Harbour House – Magic Kingdom)

These probably won’t make many “best Disney snack” lists, but I absolutely love them.
They’re crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and they’re one of those snacks that’s perfect when you want something savory instead of another cupcake or cookie.
If you’re already eating at Columbia Harbour House, I highly recommend adding an order to share. They’re simple, but they’re incredibly well done.
Don’t miss: Pair them with one of Columbia Harbour House’s seafood meals, or just order them on their own for a quick snack.
13. Caramel Turtle (Karamell-Küche – EPCOT)

Everything inside Karamell-Küche smells amazing.
Seriously, it’s almost impossible to walk past without stopping.
Out of everything I’ve tried there, the Caramel Turtle is still my favorite. The combination of buttery caramel, pecans, and chocolate somehow manages to be rich without feeling overwhelming. It’s sweet, chewy, crunchy, and basically everything I want in a caramel dessert.
If you only buy one thing from Karamell-Küche, this would be my recommendation.
Don’t miss: If you love caramel, plan on bringing a few treats home. They travel surprisingly well.
12. Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich (Terra Treats – Animal Kingdom)

This is the only Hollywood Studios snack that cracked my Top 15, and it earned its spot.
It’s enormous.
Two soft brownies sandwich cookie dough ice cream, creating one of the richest desserts you’ll find anywhere at Disney World. This is definitely a shareable snack unless you’re incredibly ambitious.
It’s messy, over-the-top, and completely worth ordering at least once.
Don’t miss: Grab plenty of napkins before you take the first bite.
11. Macaron Framboise et Citron Vert (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie – EPCOT)

This might be one of the prettiest snacks at Disney World.
The raspberry and lime flavors balance each other beautifully, giving it just enough tartness to keep it from becoming overly sweet. It’s also much lighter than many of Disney’s richer desserts, making it a great afternoon treat while you’re exploring World Showcase.
Honestly, I debated putting this even higher.
The only reason it landed just outside my Top 10 is because there are so many unforgettable snacks ahead of it.
Don’t miss: If you love French pastries, don’t stop at the macarons. Les Halles is one of Disney World’s best bakeries.
10. Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork (Flame Tree Barbecue and Eight Spoon Cafe– Animal Kingdom)

This is comfort food in a bowl.
Creamy macaroni and cheese is already hard to beat, but then Disney piles on smoky pulled pork and barbecue sauce, creating something that’s hearty enough to count as lunch.
Could you call this a meal instead of a snack?
Probably.
Would I still happily split one with someone while wandering Animal Kingdom?
Absolutely.
It’s rich, filling, and one of the best savory snacks you’ll find anywhere in the parks.
Don’t miss: If you’re hungry, this is one of the best values on Disney property.
9. Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse (Satu’li Canteen – Animal Kingdom)

This dessert completely surprised me.
I ordered it because it looked interesting.
I ordered it again because it tasted incredible.
The blueberry flavor is bright without being overpowering, while the cream cheese mousse keeps everything light and silky. It’s not nearly as heavy as it looks, making it one of my favorite Disney desserts when I want something sweet that doesn’t leave me feeling stuffed.
This is one of those hidden gems that deserves far more attention.
Don’t miss: Save room for dessert if you’re eating at Satu’li Canteen. This is the reason.
8. Totchos (Woody’s Lunch Box – Hollywood Studios)

Disney took tater tots…
…and somehow made them even better.
Loaded with chili, queso, corn chips, sour cream, and green onions, Totchos are exactly what they sound like—nachos made with crispy tater tots instead of tortilla chips.
They’re messy, impossible to eat neatly… and also ridiculously good.
This is another snack that easily doubles as a meal if you’re not especially hungry.
Don’t miss: Bring a friend. These are much more fun to share.
7. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls (Adventureland Cart – Magic Kingdom)

I still remember the first time I tried these.
I thought, “Okay…they’re cheeseburger-flavored spring rolls. How good can they really be?”
Turns out, really good.
They’re crispy on the outside, packed with seasoned beef, melted cheese, and pickles on the inside, and somehow they actually taste like a cheeseburger. Disney has turned them into one of Magic Kingdom’s signature snacks, and for good reason.
They’re easy to eat while you’re walking through Adventureland, they’re surprisingly filling, and they’re one of those snacks I recommend to just about everyone.
Don’t miss: If you see a seasonal spring roll flavor alongside the cheeseburger version, don’t be afraid to try it. Disney rotates some fun options throughout the year.
6. Ronto Wrap (Ronto Roasters – Hollywood Studios)

I know…
Some people are going to argue this shouldn’t even count as a snack.
Honestly? I get it.
It’s absolutely substantial enough to be lunch, and I almost talked myself out of including it.
But here’s the thing—I almost always grab one while wandering through Galaxy’s Edge, not because I’m sitting down for a meal, but because I want a really good bite to eat between attractions. So for me, it still feels like a Disney snack.
And what a snack it is.
The grilled pork sausage, roasted pork, peppercorn sauce, and tangy slaw somehow come together into one of the most flavorful things you can eat at Disney World. It’s savory, smoky, fresh, and surprisingly balanced.
If you’ve never had one before, don’t let the Star Wars theme scare you away.
This is one of the best things Disney serves anywhere.
Don’t miss: Mobile order if the line is long. Ronto Roasters is popular for a reason.
5. Pineapple Crisp Sundae (Tamu Tamu Refreshments – Disney’s Animal Kingdom)

Apparently, I have a thing for pineapple desserts.
I didn’t really notice until I finished this ranking…and then I looked at my Top 5.
Oops.
This sundae layers vanilla soft serve with warm pineapple crisp and caramel sauce, creating the perfect mix of hot and cold, creamy and crunchy.
Every bite is a little different, and somehow it all works together beautifully.
If you’re spending the day in Animal Kingdom, this is the snack I’m thinking about long before I actually get hungry.
It’s one of those desserts that’s worth making a special stop for.
Don’t miss: Eat it right away. Like any soft-serve dessert, it’s best before the Florida heat starts winning.
4. Cheeseburger Steamed Pods (Bao Buns) (Satu’li Canteen – Disney’s Animal Kingdom)

These probably win the award for the most unexpected snack on my list.
They’re basically Disney’s version of a cheeseburger tucked inside a soft, pillowy steamed bun.
That description shouldn’t work nearly as well as it does.
The beef filling is flavorful, the ketchup-mustard aioli ties everything together, and the steamed bun has an incredibly light texture that makes the whole thing feel different from anything else you’ll eat at Disney World.
I know some people order these as part of a meal.
Me?
I’d happily grab them as a snack every single trip.
They’re unique, delicious, and one of the foods I recommend most often to anyone visiting Animal Kingdom.
Don’t miss: If you’re nervous because they sound unusual, don’t be. They’re one of Disney’s most approachable “different” foods.
3. Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich (L’Artisan des Glaces – EPCOT)

This is one of those snacks that’s every bit as good as it looks.
Disney takes two oversized macarons, fills them with your choice of ice cream, and presses everything together into an unforgettable dessert.
The chewy macarons are a perfect contrast to the creamy ice cream, and because you can choose your flavor combination, it’s easy to customize.
It’s definitely a little messy.
It’s also completely worth it.
I honestly think this is one of the best desserts anywhere in EPCOT.
Don’t miss: Don’t overthink the flavors. Pick the ice cream that sounds best to you and enjoy the experience.
2. Nutella Fruit Waffle (Sleepy Hollow – Magic Kingdom)

This one has become a tradition for me.
Every trip, I tell myself maybe I’ll try something different.
Every trip, I end up ordering the Nutella Fruit Waffle.
Fresh strawberries, bananas, blueberries, Nutella, and a warm Mickey-shaped waffle shouldn’t be anything revolutionary.
But somehow, it’s better than the sum of its parts.
The fruit keeps it from feeling overly heavy, the Nutella is just rich enough without overpowering everything else, and the waffle is the perfect base for the whole thing.
It’s sweet without being cloying, filling without feeling like a huge meal, and it’s one of those snacks that instantly feels like Disney.
Don’t miss: Grab it in the morning or late evening when the line is usually a little shorter.
1. Pineapple Upside-Down Cake (Aloha Isle – Magic Kingdom)

If you asked me which single Disney snack I’d miss the most if it disappeared tomorrow…
This would be it.
I know the Dole Whip gets all the attention, and don’t get me wrong—I like Dole Whip.
But the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is the dessert I genuinely look forward to every Disney vacation.
The warm cake, sweet pineapple, caramelized brown sugar, and cool pineapple soft serve create one of those perfect combinations where every bite just works.
It’s sweet, refreshing, and just a little nostalgic.
And apparently, based on this list, it checks every single box my sweet tooth could ask for.
If you’re only going to splurge on one dessert during your Magic Kingdom day, this would be my pick every single time.
Don’t miss: Find a shady spot nearby and take your time. This is one Disney snack that’s worth slowing down for.
Snacks That Just Missed My Top 15
Narrowing this list down to just 15 snacks was surprisingly difficult. A few favorites barely missed making the cut, and I’d happily order either one again on my next Disney vacation.
Mickey Mouse Brownie Sundae (Hollywood Scoops – Disney’s Hollywood Studios)

If I were ranking snacks in Hollywood Studios alone, this would be right near the top.
The warm brownie, creamy ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and classic Mickey presentation make it one of the most fun desserts in the park. It’s rich, shareable, and exactly the kind of over-the-top Disney treat you expect on vacation.
The only reason it didn’t crack my overall Top 15 is because, once I compared it against snacks from all four parks, I found myself reaching for some of the other desserts just a little more often.
Outpost Mix (Kat Saka Kettle– Hollywood Studios)

This one completely surprised me.
The combination of popcorn, peanuts, and spices sounds incredibly simple, but it’s the perfect snack while you’re strolling around World Showcase.
After several sweeter desserts on this list, the salty, crunchy flavor is a welcome change of pace. It’s easy to carry, easy to share, and one of EPCOT’s most underrated grab-and-go snacks.
The Best Disney World Snack in Each Park
If you’re only visiting one park, here’s the snack I’d recommend making a point to try.
| Park | My Favorite Snack |
|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom | Pineapple Upside-Down Cake |
| EPCOT | Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich |
| Hollywood Studios | Ronto Wrap |
| Animal Kingdom | Pineapple Crisp Sundae |
Final Thoughts
One of the things I love most about Disney World is that eating can be just as much fun as riding the attractions.
Some snacks become traditions that I order every single trip. Others surprise me when I least expect it. And every once in a while, I discover something that immediately earns a permanent spot on my must-eat list.
Will everyone agree with my rankings?
Probably not.
That’s part of the fun.
Some people will always choose a Dole Whip. Others swear by Mickey pretzels or churros. And honestly, that’s one of the best things about Disney World—there’s something for everyone.
But if you handed me one day in the parks and told me I could only eat the snacks on this list, I’d be a very happy Disney fan.
And yes…I’d probably start with the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake.
