Best Hollywood Studios Snacks: 18 Treats Worth Trying

If Magic Kingdom is the park of iconic Disney snacks, Hollywood Studios has a completely different personality.
Magic Kingdom has Dole Whip, cheeseburger spring rolls, and waffles. EPCOT has festival booths and snacks from around the world. Animal Kingdom surprises people with some of the most creative food in Disney World.
Hollywood Studios?
Hollywood Studios has cookies.
Lots and lots of cookies.
That’s not a complaint, by the way. They’re actually really good cookies. But if you’re looking for the Disney park with the biggest variety of snacks, Hollywood Studios probably isn’t it. What it does have are some fantastic desserts, a handful of excellent savory snacks, and several treats that I find myself ordering whenever I’m nearby.
Over the years, I’ve worked my way through quite a few of the snacks around Hollywood Studios. Some are things I’d happily order on every vacation. Others were good enough that I’d get them again if I happened to be in the area. And then there are a couple that…well…I’m perfectly happy crossing off my Disney snack bucket list.
So here’s my completely subjective ranking of the 18 Hollywood Studios snacks I’ve personally tried.

If you’re looking for a full meal instead of a snack, be sure to check out my guide to the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants, where I rank every counter-service location I’ve tried.
How I Put This List Together
A couple of things before we get started.
First, every snack on this list is something I’ve actually eaten.
There are plenty of Disney snack rankings out there that include every popular snack in the park whether the author has tried it or not. That’s never really been my style. If I’m recommending something, it’s because I’ve ordered it myself.
Second, I’m not separating everything into desserts, savory snacks, frozen treats, baked goods, and everything else.
Honestly…Hollywood Studios would make that almost impossible anyway.
One thing I noticed while putting this list together is just how dessert-heavy this park really is. Giant cookies, brownies, funnel cakes, pastries, popcorn mixes, ice cream sundaes…they’re everywhere. There are some great savory snacks too, but if you have a sweet tooth, Hollywood Studios might quietly be your favorite Disney park.
Don’t worry, though. Later in the article I’ll share my favorite sweet treats and my favorite more substantial snacks separately if that’s what you’re looking for.
One other thing to keep in mind: Disney changes snack menus all the time.
Seriously…it feels like they’re constantly experimenting.
Hollywood Scoops is probably the best example. One visit you might find an incredible seasonal sundae or a fun Villains-themed cone. Come back six months later and it’s completely gone. Some of those limited-time desserts have been fantastic, and I wish Disney had kept them around longer.
So think of this list as a snapshot of the snacks I’ve tried over the years, knowing that some of them may eventually disappear while brand-new treats take their place.

A Few Classics That Didn’t Make the Rankings
You’ll notice I didn’t rank regular Disney popcorn.
I love Disney popcorn as much as the next person, but it’s available in every park, so it didn’t really seem fair to include it here.
I also left drinks off this list…mostly.
The one exception is the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade from Ice Cold Hydraulics. It’s technically a drink, but it feels more like eating an Icee than sipping a beverage. On a hot Florida afternoon, it’s incredibly refreshing, so I decided it deserved a place in the rankings.
One other thing made me laugh while I was putting this guide together.
Hollywood Studios has an unbelievable number of giant cookies.
You’ve got the Wookiee Cookie. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums. The Terror Cookie. The Play-Doh Cookie. The Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie. Even the oversized donuts at Joffrey’s feel like they’re trying to compete with the cookies.
The funny part?
They’re all pretty good.
The hard part isn’t finding a good cookie—it’s deciding which one is worth your stomach space. Unless you’re traveling with a group that’s willing to share everything, most people are probably only eating one giant Disney cookie in a day.
One thing you’ll notice is that the rankings get pretty tight after about the top six. I genuinely love those snacks. Everything from about #7 through #16 is still really good, and depending on the day, I could probably shuffle those around without much argument.
Now…let’s get to the rankings.
18. Black Spire Mousse (Docking Bay 7)

I’ll be honest…this one just wasn’t for me.
I absolutely appreciate the presentation. It looks like something you’d expect to find in Galaxy’s Edge, and Disney deserves credit for leaning into the theme.
Unfortunately, I enjoyed looking at it more than I enjoyed eating it.
The texture and flavors just never really came together for me, and by the time I finished it, I knew I probably wouldn’t order it again. If you’re looking for a fun Star Wars-themed dessert, it’s worth trying once. But compared to the other sweet treats around Hollywood Studios, I think there are much better options.
17. Enchanted Rose (Fairfax Fare)
This is another snack that was perfectly fine…
…but not one I’d go out of my way to order again.
The presentation is beautiful, and I can definitely see why people are drawn to it. Disney almost always does a nice job with themed desserts.
For me, though, it was one of those treats that looked more impressive than it tasted. I enjoyed trying it, but if I found myself standing in front of Fairfax Fare again, there are several other snacks around Hollywood Studios that I’d rather spend my money on.
16. Raspberry Lunch Box Tart (Woody’s Lunch Box)

I know these Lunch Box Tarts have developed a pretty loyal following.
They’re colorful, fun, and fit the Toy Story theme perfectly.
For me, though, this one was just…good.
The raspberry filling was nice, the pastry was flaky enough, and I certainly didn’t regret ordering it. I just never found myself craving another one afterward.
If you’re already grabbing Totchos or breakfast from Woody’s Lunch Box, I’d have no problem recommending you split one with someone. But on its own, it doesn’t quite compete with my favorite desserts in the park.
15. Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie (Trolley Car Café)

This is another one that has a loyal fan base, and I completely understand why.
If you like carrot cake, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy this.
The cake itself is soft, the cream cheese filling is rich without being overwhelming, and it’s definitely big enough to share. It’s also one of those snacks that pairs really well with a coffee if you’re taking a break along Hollywood Boulevard.
That said, Hollywood Studios has so many giant cookies and bakery-style desserts that this one gets lost in the crowd a little bit for me. It’s good—I just don’t find myself making a special trip for it.
14. Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums (The Market)

If you’ve spent any time researching Hollywood Studios snacks, you’ve probably heard about the famous Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
And yes…it’s a really good cookie.
It’s warm, loaded with chocolate chips, and exactly the kind of oversized Disney dessert that people love.
The only reason it isn’t higher on my list?
Competition.
Hollywood Studios has so many good cookies that choosing a favorite almost comes down to personal preference. If someone handed me a Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, I’d happily eat it. I just happen to like a few other cookies in the park a little bit more.
13. Giant Donuts (Joffrey’s Coffee)

These things are enormous.
Seriously…calling them donuts almost feels misleading because they’re closer to a small cake than a typical donut.
They’re soft, sweet, and come in a variety of flavors depending on which Joffrey’s location you’re visiting.
They’re also incredibly shareable.
Would I recommend buying one for your whole family to split?
Absolutely.
Would I recommend everyone in your group ordering their own?
Probably not.
Like a lot of the baked goods at Hollywood Studios, they’re fun to try once, but I’d rather save room for some of the snacks higher on this list.
12. Wookiee Cookie (Backlot Express)

Now we’re getting into the snacks that I’d happily order again.
The Wookiee Cookie is basically two soft oatmeal cookies filled with vanilla cream and topped with a little chocolate decoration that looks like Chewbacca’s bandolier.
It’s cute.
It’s huge.
And it’s surprisingly good.
The oatmeal cookies help keep it from being overwhelmingly sweet, and the filling balances everything out nicely.
The only reason it isn’t higher?
Well…
Hollywood Studios just has a ridiculous number of really good cookies.
11. Frozen Strawberry Lemonade (Ice Cold Hydraulics)

I debated whether this even belonged on the list.
Technically it’s a drink.
But honestly?
It feels more like eating an Icee than drinking lemonade.
On one of those blazing hot Florida afternoons, this might be one of the most refreshing things you can buy in Hollywood Studios. It’s cold, fruity, and surprisingly flavorful without being overly heavy.
Would I order it instead of one of my favorite desserts?
Probably not.
Would I happily grab one while walking through Grand Avenue on a 95-degree day?
Absolutely.
10. California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate (Baseline Taphouse)

This may not look like your typical Disney snack…
…but don’t overlook it.
The California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate is one of the better shareable options in Hollywood Studios, especially if you’re looking for something savory instead of another sugary dessert.
Between the cheeses, meats, and accompaniments, it’s surprisingly filling for a snack.
Honestly, though, if I’m stopping at Baseline Taphouse, I’m almost never ordering just the charcuterie plate.
I’m usually pairing it with the pretzel.
Together, they make one of my favorite snack breaks anywhere in Hollywood Studios.
9. Play-Doh Cookie (Joffrey’s Coffee Near Pixar Place)

I’m convinced Disney could have made this cookie any color they wanted…
…and kids still would have called it the Play-Doh Cookie.
Thankfully, it tastes much better than Play-Doh.
In fact, if you’ve tried the Terror Cookie over near Tower of Terror, you’ve basically tried this cookie too. They’re incredibly similar, with only minor differences between them.
Both are soft, rich, packed with chocolate, and absolutely big enough to share.
Honestly, if you’re choosing between the Play-Doh Cookie and the Terror Cookie, I’d simply buy whichever one is closest to where you happen to be in the park.
They’re both excellent.
8. Terror Cookie (Joffrey’s Coffee Near Tower of Terror)

See?
I told you these cookies were almost identical.
The Terror Cookie edges out the Play-Doh Cookie by the slimmest of margins for me, but we’re talking about two desserts that are so similar most people probably wouldn’t notice much difference.
If you’re spending time on Sunset Boulevard, this is an easy recommendation.
It’s soft, loaded with chocolate, and one of the better values if you’re planning to split a dessert.
And yes…
Hollywood Studios really does have an absurd number of giant cookies.
7. Pizza Planet Spring Rolls (Toy Story Land Snack Cart)

I almost didn’t try these.
I figured they were just going to be pizza shoved inside a spring roll, and honestly…that didn’t sound all that exciting.
Boy was I wrong.
They’re crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and surprisingly satisfying. They’re also one of those snacks that’s easy to eat while you’re walking around the park, which is always a bonus.
Would I choose these over the cheeseburger spring rolls at Magic Kingdom?
Not the right question… they are basically the same. Both are delicious!
These are still absolutely worth trying if you’re spending time in Toy Story Land and want something a little more substantial than another cookie.
6. Cookies ‘n Cream Funnel Cake (Epic Eats)

Now we’re talking.
This is one of those desserts that’s completely over the top in the best possible way.
It’s sweet, messy, and definitely not something I’d want to eat by myself.
But if you’re traveling with another person or two, it’s a really fun snack to split.
Epic Eats is one of those places that’s easy to walk right past on your way to Indiana Jones or Star Tours. Don’t.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is one of the better desserts in Hollywood Studios.
5. Ronto Wrap (Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7)

I know.
Some of you are looking at this ranking and thinking, “Only number five?”
Hear me out.
The Ronto Wrap is really good.
It’s flavorful, filling, portable, and one of the most unique things you can eat in Hollywood Studios. I completely understand why so many people absolutely love it.
The only reason it isn’t higher is because the four snacks above it are simply the ones I enjoy a little more.
One nice thing is that you don’t actually have to eat it at Ronto Roasters anymore. If you’re already sitting down inside Docking Bay 7, you can order one there too, which makes it really convenient.
4. Bavarian Pretzel (Baseline Taphouse)

I love Baseline Taphouse.
Not because I’m stopping there for a beer…
…I’m stopping there because I want this pretzel.
It’s warm, soft, salty, and exactly what I want after walking around Hollywood Studios for half the day.
And here’s the thing.
If I’m getting the pretzel…
I’m almost always getting the charcuterie board too.
The two just go together.
It’s one of my favorite places in the park to slow down for twenty or thirty minutes, grab a snack, sit in the shade, and rest my feet before heading back out.
Sometimes that’s exactly what you need in the middle of a Disney day.
3. Totchos (Woody’s Lunch Box)

These have become one of my favorite savory snacks in all of Disney World.
If you’ve never had Totchos before, think loaded nachos…
…except the tortilla chips have been replaced with tater tots.
It’s one of those snacks that’s filling enough that it can honestly be lunch if you’re not starving.
The toppings all work together, it’s easy to split, and unlike some Disney snacks that look better than they taste, this one actually lives up to the hype.
If you only want one savory snack during your day at Hollywood Studios, this would probably be my pick.
2. Outpost Mix (Kat Saka’s Kettle)

This one surprises people.
Every.
Single.
Time.
I don’t know what it is about this popcorn mix, but it’s ridiculously addictive.
It’s sweet and salty.
And it’s crunchy.
And once you start eating it, it’s really hard to stop.
I usually tell myself I’m just going to have a handful…
…and then suddenly the bag is half empty.
It’s also one of those snacks that’s easy to carry around while you’re exploring Galaxy’s Edge or waiting in line for Rise of the Resistance.
There are a lot of good snacks in Hollywood Studios.
This is one of the few that I genuinely look forward to eating every trip.
1. Mickey Mouse Brownie Sundae (Hollywood Scoops)

This probably isn’t the snack most people expect to see at number one.
I don’t care.
I love this thing.
First of all, it’s huge.
Second, it’s chocolate on top of chocolate on top of ice cream…. and a Mickey Mouse brownie!

What’s not to like?
It’s one of those desserts that’s fun to share, especially on a hot afternoon, and it’s become the snack I find myself ordering more than anything else in Hollywood Studios.
Now, I will say this.
Hollywood Scoops has had some incredible seasonal sundaes and specialty cones over the years too. I still wish Disney had kept some of them around because they were fantastic.
But if we’re talking about snacks that are consistently available, the Mickey Mouse Brownie Sundae is my favorite.
If someone asked me to recommend exactly one dessert at Hollywood Studios…
This would be it.
My Favorite Sweet Snacks at Hollywood Studios
If dessert is your thing, Hollywood Studios is going to make you very happy.
These are the five sweet snacks I’d recommend first:
- Mickey Mouse Brownie Sundae (Hollywood Scoops)
- Outpost Mix (Kat Saka’s Kettle)
- Cookies ‘n Cream Funnel Cake (Epic Eats)
- Terror Cookie or Play-Doh Cookie (Honestly, they’re so similar that I’d just get whichever one is closer.)
- Wookiee Cookie (Backlot Express)
I also enjoyed the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie, and even the giant donuts from Joffrey’s.
The problem is…
You probably don’t need to eat five giant cookies in one day.
My Favorite Savory (or Meal-Sized) Snacks
If you’re looking for something a little more filling, these are the snacks I’d recommend.
- Totchos (Woody’s Lunch Box)
- Bavarian Pretzel (Baseline Taphouse)
- Ronto Wrap (Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7)
- Pizza Planet Spring Rolls (Toy Story Land Snack Cart)
- California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate (Baseline Taphouse)
Honestly, if I were planning a full day at Hollywood Studios, I could easily make a meal out of those five snacks.
A Few Snacks Still on My Hollywood Studios Bucket List
Even after several trips, there are still quite a few Hollywood Studios snacks I haven’t tried yet.
They’re definitely on my list for a future visit:
- Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese (ABC Commissary)
- Lunch Box Pop Tart (seasonal flavors)
- Seasonal treats at Hollywood Scoops
- More of the specialty popcorn creations at Kat Saka’s Kettle
- Whatever random dessert Disney dreams up next for Galaxy’s Edge
One of the fun things about Disney is that there’s always something new.
Menus change.
Seasonal treats come and go.
Sometimes you discover a new favorite. Sometimes your favorite disappears forever.
It’s all part of the experience.
Final Thoughts
Hollywood Studios may not have as many iconic snacks as Magic Kingdom or as much variety as EPCOT, but that doesn’t mean you should skip the snack stands.
This park is all about really solid desserts.
If you love giant cookies, brownies, sundaes, popcorn mixes, and funnel cakes, you’ll have no trouble finding something to satisfy your sweet tooth. And don’t overlook the savory side of the park either. Between the Totchos, the Bavarian Pretzel, the Ronto Wrap, and the Pizza Planet Spring Rolls, there are plenty of snacks that are filling enough to replace a quick-service meal.
One thing I noticed while putting these rankings together is that Hollywood Studios doesn’t really have a snack that I absolutely have to get every single trip.
Magic Kingdom has the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake.
Animal Kingdom has the pineapple crisp sundae and now… the cookie dough brownie ice cream sandwich.
Hollywood Studios doesn’t quite have that one signature snack for me.
That said…I do find myself gravitating toward the Mickey Mouse Brownie Sundae and the Outpost Mix almost every time I visit. If I leave the park without one of those, I’m usually just fine. But if I’m nearby and it’s snack time, there’s a pretty good chance that’s what I’m ordering.
Looking at my rankings, they naturally fall into three groups.
The snacks I love (1-6): These are the snacks I’d happily recommend to just about anyone visiting Hollywood Studios. They’re the ones I’d order again and again without thinking twice.
The snacks I really like (7-16): These are all super solid choices. I’d be perfectly happy ordering any of them again, and honestly, the exact order could probably change depending on my mood that day.
The snacks I’d probably skip next time (17-18): They weren’t bad. In fact, I don’t think there’s anything on this list that’s truly awful. They just didn’t stand out enough for me to spend my snack budget on them again.
That’s one of the nice things about Hollywood Studios.
Even the lower-ranked snacks are still pretty good.
You just have to decide whether today is a brownie day…a popcorn day…or one of the park’s many, many cookie days.
