Ronto Roasters Review: The Best Quick Bite in Galaxy’s Edge?

Is Ronto Roasters worth it? Here’s my honest review of the famous Ronto Wrap, breakfast menu, seating, and why it’s one of my favorite meals in Galaxy’s Edge.
Estimated reading time: 7 minutes
One of the things I love about Disney World is that sometimes the simplest meals end up being the most memorable.
That’s exactly how I feel about Ronto Roasters.
The menu is tiny.
There aren’t a dozen different entrées to choose from.
In fact, most people come here for one thing.
The Ronto Wrap.
And honestly?
I completely understand why.
It may not look all that impressive at first glance, but it’s become one of my favorite quick meals at Hollywood Studios.
In fact, I currently rank Ronto Roasters as my fourth favorite quick service restaurant at Hollywood Studios.
That’s pretty impressive considering the menu is basically built around one signature item.

While the Ronto Wrap is definitely filling enough to count as a meal, I also included it in my roundup of the best snacks at Hollywood Studios because it’s one of those grab-and-go items I find myself ordering almost every trip.
The Ronto Wrap Is Simple…
…and that’s exactly why I like it.
If you’ve never had one before, the Ronto Wrap is a grilled sausage wrapped in soft pita bread with slaw and sauce.
That’s it.
Nothing overly complicated.
Nothing piled a foot high.
Just a really good sandwich.
It’s filling enough to count as lunch without making you feel like you need to take a nap afterward.
I’ve ordered it more than once now, and it’s become one of those meals that I know I’ll probably end up getting every time I visit Galaxy’s Edge.
Sometimes simple really is better.

If you’re looking for a more traditional quick service restaurant with plenty of indoor seating, Backlot Express is another solid option just a short walk away.
Don’t Forget About Breakfast
One thing a lot of people don’t realize is that Ronto Roasters also serves breakfast.
The Breakfast Ronto Wrap takes everything that’s good about the regular version and adds eggs, making it a quick breakfast if you’re heading into Galaxy’s Edge first thing in the morning.
I’ve had the breakfast version too, and it’s really good.
That said…
If you ask me which one I’d order…
I’m picking the regular Ronto Wrap.
Every time.
It’s just my favorite.
My Favorite Time to Eat Here
This has actually become a little tradition for me.
Whenever I have a reservation at Oga’s Cantina, I almost always stop here first.
As much as I love Oga’s, it really isn’t somewhere I’d go for lunch.
The drinks are fun.
The atmosphere is incredible.
The food…
Not so much.
So I’ll usually grab a Ronto Wrap before heading over.
Sometimes I’ll eat it while I’m waiting for my reservation.
Sometimes I’ll finish it before I go inside.
Either way, it works out really well.
It’s one of those little things I’ve started doing almost every trip.

The Theming Is Half the Fun
Like just about everything in Galaxy’s Edge, Disney did a fantastic job with the theming.
If you aren’t paying attention, it’s actually pretty easy to walk right past Ronto Roasters because it blends so naturally into the marketplace.
Then you notice what’s cooking the food.
Instead of a normal rotisserie…
There’s an old podracer engine turning the spit while a former battle droid keeps an eye on everything.
Only Disney could come up with something like that.
It’s such a small detail, but it makes grabbing lunch feel like part of the story instead of just another meal.
Seating Is Limited…But That Doesn’t Really Bother Me
If I had one complaint about Ronto Roasters, it’s that there isn’t a ton of seating.
There are a handful of covered tables nearby, but this isn’t one of those restaurants where you’re going to sit down for an hour and take a break.
Honestly, though, I don’t really think that’s what it’s meant to be.
Ronto Roasters is more of a grab-your-food-and-keep-exploring kind of place.
Sometimes I’ll find a table.
Other times I’ll eat while I’m waiting for my reservation at Oga’s Cantina.
Either way, it works.
It’s quick, it’s easy, and before long I’m back wandering around Black Spire Outpost.

A Few Tips Before You Go
If you’re planning to eat here, I’d definitely recommend using Mobile Order.
The menu is small, so ordering ahead makes the whole process even faster.
If you’ve never had a Ronto Wrap before, I’d also recommend starting with the original before trying the breakfast version.
Both are good.
I just think the original is the better sandwich.
And if you’re already planning to visit Oga’s Cantina…
Seriously, eat here first.
You’ll thank me later.
Is Ronto Roasters Worth It?
Without a doubt.
In fact, I think it’s one of the best values at Hollywood Studios.
The Ronto Wrap is filling enough to count as a meal, it’s reasonably priced by Disney standards, and it’s something I actually look forward to eating every trip.
That’s really the highest compliment I can give.
There are plenty of restaurants I’ve tried once because I wanted to review them.
Ronto Roasters isn’t one of those places.
It’s become part of my normal Hollywood Studios routine.
Pros & Cons

- Easy to grab on the go
- Mobile Order available
Cons
- Very limited menu

- No air-conditioned dining room
Final Thoughts
I think Ronto Roasters is a perfect example of the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
If someone showed me a picture of the Ronto Wrap before I’d ever been to Disney, I probably wouldn’t have been all that excited about it.
A sausage wrapped in pita bread?
It doesn’t exactly sound life-changing.
And yet…
It’s one of the meals I look forward to the most whenever I visit Hollywood Studios.
It’s quick.
It’s filling.
It’s different from the burgers and chicken tenders you’ll find in a lot of theme parks.
And somehow, it just feels like it belongs in Galaxy’s Edge.
That’s probably why I keep coming back.
Woody’s Lunch Box is still my favorite quick service restaurant at Hollywood Studios overall, but Ronto Roasters is my go-to whenever I’m spending time in Galaxy’s Edge.
If you’re spending the day exploring Black Spire Outpost, riding Rise of the Resistance, shopping in the marketplace, or grabbing a drink at Oga’s Cantina, I’d absolutely recommend making time for a Ronto Wrap.
If you’re looking for a larger menu and an air-conditioned dining room, I’d point you toward ABC Commissary instead. But if I’m already spending the day in Galaxy’s Edge, I’d much rather grab a Ronto Wrap and keep exploring.
It may not be the biggest meal in the park.
It may not have the largest menu.
But sometimes that’s all you need.
A really good sandwich, a fun setting, and another excuse to spend a little more time in one of Disney’s best-themed lands.
