Best Snacks at Epcot: My Favorite Treats, Desserts, and Savory Bites Ranked

Discover the best snacks at Epcot! From pastries in France to caramel treats in Germany, here are my favorite desserts and savory bites ranked.
If there’s one Disney World park where you should come hungry, it’s Epcot.
Honestly, Epcot is in a league of its own when it comes to food. Between the World Showcase pavilions, quick service restaurants, bakery cases, snack carts, and four different festivals throughout the year, you could spend an entire vacation eating your way around the park—and still leave with a list of things you want to try next time.
That’s what makes Epcot so much fun… and also what makes it one of the hardest parks to write a snack guide for.
I’ve eaten my way around World Showcase over several trips, but there’s no way I’ve tried everything. Instead of pretending I’ve sampled every pastry, pretzel, and dessert in the park, I’m sharing the snacks I’ve actually eaten, what I thought of them, and the ones I’d happily order again.
One thing you’ll notice is that I split this guide into savory snacks and sweet treats. Trying to rank fish and chips against a caramel apple just didn’t make sense. They’re completely different cravings, so each category gets its own rankings.
Before You Start Eating Your Way Around Epcot…
If I could give you one piece of advice, it’s this: pace yourself.
Epcot is the easiest park at Disney World to accidentally overeat in.
You grab a pastry in France because everyone says you have to. Then you wander into Germany for caramel. Before long you’re sharing fish and chips in the UK, grabbing a snack in Japan, and suddenly it’s two o’clock in the afternoon… and you still have a dinner reservation.
That’s another thing that makes Epcot different from the other parks.
save room For Table Service Restaurants
Not only does it have incredible snacks, but it also has some of the best table service restaurants at Walt Disney World. If you’ve booked a reservation at one of those restaurants, don’t fill up beforehand. I’d much rather split a few snacks with my family throughout the day and still enjoy dinner than stuff myself early and end up wasting an expensive meal.
I also think it’s important to remember that you’re not just eating. You’ll probably be walking eight to ten miles, often in Florida heat and humidity. It’s surprisingly easy to overdo it and spend the afternoon wishing you’d shown a little more restraint. I’ve found it’s much more enjoyable to share snacks, drink plenty of water, and save room for the next great bite than try to eat everything in one visit.
That being said, if you’re looking for something more filling than a snack, don’t miss my guide to the best quick service restaurants at Epcot, where I rank my favorite counter service meals and share what I’d order at each location.
what this guide is missing…
One last thing you’ll notice about my food guides: there isn’t much discussion of alcohol.
That’s intentional.
I have absolutely nothing against drinking, but it’s just not my thing. Every once in a while I’ll order a frozen fruity drink on vacation. But most of the time I’d honestly rather have water, a dessert, or another snack. So while you’ll find plenty of guides out there about drinking around the world, the best margaritas, or where to find the perfect beer in Epcot, that’s simply not the kind of advice I can honestly give.
I’d rather recommend the snacks I’ve actually tried and loved than pretend to be an expert on something I rarely order.
And with that… let’s eat our way around World Showcase.
Best Savory Snacks at Epcot
One thing you’ll probably notice is that this list is a lot shorter than the dessert list.
That’s not because Epcot is lacking in savory food—quite the opposite. The problem is that Epcot has so many outstanding quick service and table service restaurants that I usually end up eating actual meals instead of stopping for savory snacks. It’s a good problem to have.
These are the savory snacks that stood out enough for me to order again.
1. Fish and Chips (Yorkshire County Fish Shop)

If you ask me what savory snack you absolutely shouldn’t skip at Epcot, this is it.
The fish is hot, flaky, and perfectly crispy without feeling greasy, and the fries are exactly what you want alongside it. It’s one of those Disney foods that has a great reputation for a reason.
The portions are generous enough that my family will often split an order, especially if we’re planning to snack our way around World Showcase. That’s honestly one of my favorite ways to enjoy it.
2. Moroccan Bread and Dips (Tangierine Café)

This one completely flew under my radar until I finally ordered it.
It’s a simple snack—warm bread served with several flavorful dips—but sometimes simple is exactly what you want. The different dips keep every bite interesting, and it’s a nice break from all the heavier fried foods you’ll find elsewhere in the park.
If you’re looking for something a little different, don’t overlook this one.
3. Housemade Hazelnut & Chocolate Spread Crêpe (Crêpes À Emporter)

Yes, I know this is technically sweet.
But it’s also surprisingly filling, so I’m cheating a little and putting it with the savory snacks because I think a lot of people end up eating it instead of lunch.
The crêpe is warm and soft, the chocolate hazelnut filling is rich without being overwhelming, and it’s one of those snacks that just feels like Epcot. If you’re wandering through the France pavilion, this is an easy recommendation.
4. Guacamole and Chips (La Cantina de San Angel)

This one just barely missed making my official rankings.
The guacamole tasted fresh, the chips were crisp, and it’s one of those snacks that’s especially nice on a hot Florida afternoon. Grab an order, find a spot overlooking World Showcase Lagoon, and enjoy the view while you snack.
5. Jumbo Pretzel (Sommerfest)

Sometimes you don’t need anything fancy.
Sometimes you just want a really good pretzel.
This one checks all the boxes. It’s warm, soft on the inside, salty on the outside, and makes a great snack if you’re spending some time exploring the Germany pavilion.
6. Béchamel, Cheese & Ham Galette (Crêpes À Emporter)

If you’d rather have something savory than sweet, don’t skip the galettes.
The buckwheat crêpe is filled with creamy béchamel, melted cheese, and ham, making it much more substantial than it looks. It’s another great option to split if you’re trying to leave room for more snacks later in the day.
7. Spicy Roll (Kabuki Café)

I’m not going to tell you this is the best sushi you’ll ever have.
What I will say is that it’s fresh, tasty, and a fun snack if you’re already exploring the Japan pavilion. Sometimes it’s nice to have something a little lighter than another fried snack, especially on a hot afternoon.
8. Pretzel Nuggets (Block & Hans)

These are basically everything you’d expect them to be.
Warm, soft pretzel bites that are easy to eat while you’re walking around World Showcase.
They’re also really easy to share, which is one of the reasons I like them so much.
9. Chicken Pot Stickers (Lotus Blossom Café)

These probably won’t be the highlight of your Epcot food day, but they’re still a solid choice if you’re looking for something savory in the China pavilion.
They’re quick, flavorful, and another snack that’s easy to split with someone else.
If you’re visiting during one of Epcot’s festivals, I’d also encourage you to save room for the food booths. Some of my favorite savory bites over the years have come from the festivals rather than the permanent locations. The menus change throughout the year, so I’m not ranking them here, but don’t be surprised if you discover a new favorite while you’re there.
Best Sweet Snacks at Epcot
Now for the fun part.
If there’s one thing Epcot absolutely excels at, it’s desserts. Honestly, I could probably spend an entire day wandering from bakery to bakery and still leave happy.
Unlike the savory snacks, there are so many fantastic desserts that I grouped them into three tiers. Even the snacks near the bottom of the list are still good—I just found myself reaching for other treats first.
❤️ LOVE Tier (Ranks 1–7)
These are the snacks I genuinely look forward to every time I visit Epcot. In fact, if I left the park without having at least one of these, I’d probably feel like I missed out.
1. Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich (L’Artisan des Glaces)

This is my favorite dessert in all of Epcot.
Fresh macarons sandwich your choice of ice cream, and the combination is every bit as amazing as it sounds. It’s rich, refreshing, and one of those desserts that’s worth planning your afternoon around.
2. Caramel Turtle (Karamell-Küche)

If you only buy one thing from Karamell-Küche, make it this.
The homemade caramel, chocolate, and pecans come together perfectly. It’s sweet without being overwhelming and easily one of the best caramel treats anywhere at Disney World.
3. Macaron Framboise et Citron Vert (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie)

This raspberry and lime macaron is one of those desserts that tastes just as beautiful as it looks.
The tart raspberry balances the sweetness perfectly, while the hint of lime keeps everything light and refreshing.
4. Caramel Apple (Karamell-Küche)

Disney caramel apples are always good, but the ones at Karamell-Küche are on another level.
They’re fresh, generously coated, and big enough to share. If you’re visiting with family, this is an easy snack to split.
5. Strawberry Wafer Ice Cream Sandwich (Mitsukoshi Department Store)

This is one of those hidden gems that people walk right past.
The strawberry ice cream sandwiched between crisp wafers makes for a refreshing treat on a hot afternoon, and it’s become one of my favorite discoveries in the Japan pavilion.
6. Macarons Large Collection (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie)

If you can’t decide on just one flavor, don’t.
The assorted macarons are fun to share and let everyone try a few different flavors. Plus, they’re almost too pretty to eat… almost.
7. Norwegian Kringla (Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe)

Sometimes the classics are classics for a reason.
Warm, soft, and lightly sweet, the Norwegian Kringla is one of those treats I almost always recommend to first-time visitors.
👍 Like / Solid Tier (Ranks 8–14)
These are all snacks I’d happily order again. They may not be the first thing I think about when I’m planning an Epcot day, but I’d never be disappointed if one of these ended up in my hands.
8. Mickey-shaped Strawberry Lemonade Macaron (Sunshine Seasons)

This one is almost too cute to eat.
The strawberry lemonade flavor is light and refreshing, making it a great dessert when you need a break from all the richer pastries and caramel treats around World Showcase. Plus, anything Mickey-shaped gets bonus points in my book.
9 (tie). Maple Popcorn (Canada)

I know popcorn doesn’t sound all that exciting.
Then you try this.
The sweet maple coating is just enough to keep you reaching back into the bag for another handful without becoming overly sugary. It’s one of those snacks that’s incredibly easy to share… assuming you’re willing to share.
9 (tie). Karamel Popcorn (Karamell-Küche)

I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite between this and the maple popcorn.
They’re different enough that I don’t think they really compete with each other, and both are ridiculously addictive. If you’re already stopping at Karamell-Küche—and you should be—this is an easy snack to grab for later.
11. Kakigori Rainbow (Kabuki Café)

If you’re visiting Epcot in July or August, this might be one of the smartest snack decisions you make all day.
The shaved ice is incredibly refreshing, the rainbow flavors make it fun, and sometimes cold is exactly what you need after walking around World Showcase in the Florida sun.
12. Gelati e Sorbetti (Gelateria Toscana)

Italy knows dessert.
Whether you choose gelato or sorbet, this is another refreshing stop if you’re looking for something cold without committing to a giant sundae or ice cream creation.
13. Turtle Brownie (Sunshine Seasons)

If you’re a chocolate lover, this one’s for you.
It’s rich, fudgy, and loaded with caramel and pecans. Is it the most unique dessert in Epcot? Probably not. But sometimes a really good brownie is exactly what you’re craving.
🙂 Good, But I Usually Order Something Else (Ranks 14-19)
Just because these are lower on my list doesn’t mean they’re bad.
They’re simply competing against some of the best snacks anywhere at Walt Disney World.
14. Caramel Butter Bar (Karamell-Küche)

This is almost unfair.
The butter bar is delicious… it’s just that Karamell-Küche has so many incredible treats that something had to land lower on the list. I’d still happily eat one anytime.
15. Pistachio Baklava (Oasis Sweets & Sips)

If you enjoy baklava, I think you’ll enjoy this.
The flaky pastry and pistachios make for a satisfying dessert that’s a little different from everything else you’ll find around World Showcase.
16. S’mores Bar (Regal Eagle Smokehouse)

This is a perfectly good dessert after lunch at Regal Eagle.
It has all the classic s’mores flavors you’d expect, but compared to everything else available around Epcot, I usually find myself saving room for something a little more unique.
17. Pretzel Bread Pudding (Sommerfest)

This is comfort food in dessert form.
It’s warm, filling, and especially enjoyable if you’re already a fan of bread pudding. Personally, though, I’d probably order the jumbo pretzel before I ordered this again.
18. Skolebrød (Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe)

I know…
People absolutely love this thing.
And while I thought it was good, I actually preferred the Norwegian Kringla. That’s one of the fun things about Epcot—sometimes your favorites don’t end up being the ones everyone else tells you to order.
19. Strawberry Bao Bun (Katsura Grill)

I’m glad I tried it.
It’s definitely unique, and it’s fun if you’re looking for something a little different. But with so many incredible desserts around Epcot, this isn’t one I’d make a special trip back for.
A Few Places You Simply Need to Visit
There are three places in Epcot that deserve a special mention because I honestly don’t think you can go wrong.
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is packed with incredible pastries, sandwiches, breads, and desserts. I’ve barely scratched the surface of the menu, and every trip I find something else I want to try.
Karamell-Küche is caramel heaven. Whether you order popcorn, caramel apples, turtles, butter bars, or something else entirely, it’s hard to make a bad choice.
And then there’s Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway. While I clearly have my favorites, there are still several things on my list to try, and it’s one of those places I stop almost every trip.
My advice?
Don’t stress about ordering the “perfect” snack.
Pick a few things that sound good, share them with your family, and enjoy exploring World Showcase. The fun of Epcot isn’t checking every item off a list—it’s discovering your own favorites along the way.
Final Thoughts
If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this guide, it’s this:
Don’t put pressure on yourself to try everything.
Seriously… it’s not happening.
I’ve been to Epcot more times than I can count, and I still have a pretty long list of snacks I want to try. Every time I think I’ve finally made a dent in it, Disney adds another festival menu, I walk past a bakery case that smells amazing, or I realize there’s something I somehow skipped on my last trip.
That’s just Epcot.
One thing I also realized while putting this list together is that there are a few places where I don’t think you need to overthink your order.
Les Halles.
Karamell-Küche.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.
Those are the kinds of places where I’d honestly tell you to walk in, look around, and order whatever sounds good. I’ve tried several things at all three, but there are still sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and desserts that I haven’t gotten around to yet. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It just means I have another excuse to go back.
Speaking of that… my “next trip” list is still pretty long.
I really want to try the Jambon Beurre, Croque Monsieur, and Croiss’ Oh La La from Les Halles. The lefse and cinnamon roll from Kringla are still on my list too, along with the Liege waffle from Connections Eatery and the bubble tea from Joy of Tea.
And then there are the festivals.
Honestly, festival food deserves its own article.
I didn’t even try to rank those dishes because the menus are constantly changing, but some of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten at Disney World have come from festival booths. Whether it’s filet mignon and mashed potatoes, raclette, Kalua pork sliders, frushi, Irish chocolate cake, frozen lavender lemonade… every festival has a few standouts that people talk about all year long.
If you’re visiting during one of the festivals, definitely save room for a few booths.
Finally, one last piece of advice…
Remember that you’re on vacation—not competing in an eating contest.
I know it’s tempting to try every snack you see, especially after you’ve spent weeks watching Disney food videos on YouTube. But Epcot is huge. You’ll probably walk miles that day, and if you’re visiting in the summer, you’ll be doing it in 90-degree heat with Florida humidity thrown in for good measure.
I’ve found that I enjoy the park a lot more when I slow down, split snacks with my family, drink plenty of water, and leave a little room for whatever catches my eye next.
Because that’s really the best part about eating at Epcot.
Not checking every famous snack off a list.
Just wandering through World Showcase and discovering a new favorite that you weren’t expecting.
And somehow… that happens to me almost every trip. 😊
