Best EPCOT Quick Service Restaurants (Ranked)

Trying to decide where to eat at EPCOT? Here’s my ranking of the best EPCOT quick service restaurants, from Les Halles and Regal Eagle to hidden gems across World Showcase.
Estimated reading time: 21 minutes
If there is one Disney World park where choosing where to eat can feel overwhelming, it’s EPCOT.
Not only does EPCOT have some of the best table service restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, but it also has more quick service restaurants, snack stands, bakeries, and food kiosks than any other park. Throw in four major festivals every year, each with dozens of food booths, and it’s easy to spend more time wondering where to eat than actually eating.
That’s exactly why I put this guide together.
One quick note before we dive in. My rankings aren’t based on Disney’s official categories. Instead, I included any permanent location where I would realistically stop for lunch or a substantial savory snack. If a place serves enough food to keep me going for the next few hours, it made the list—even if Disney technically considers it more of a snack stand than a traditional quick service restaurant.
After many trips to EPCOT (and more pastries than I probably should admit), these are the quick service restaurants I would recommend, ranked from my favorite to least favorite.
1. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France Pavilion)

If I could only recommend one quick service restaurant in EPCOT, this would be it.
Les Halles somehow manages to be an amazing breakfast spot, a fantastic lunch option, and one of the best dessert stops in the entire park. Honestly, you could stop here three different times during the day and order something completely different every visit.
One of my favorite simple treats is just a warm half baguette with butter. It sounds almost too basic, but it is unbelievably good. We’ve also had breakfast here, the ham and cheese tart, sandwiches, pastries, and desserts, and I’ve yet to order something that disappointed me.

That said, there are two downsides you should know before you commit to eating here.
The first is that Les Halles does not offer mobile ordering, so everyone waits in the same line. During busy times, that line can get surprisingly long.
The second is seating.
Or rather…the lack of it.
There really isn’t much indoor seating available, and finding an open table sometimes feels like circling a crowded mall parking lot during the holidays. You’ll often see families quietly hovering nearby, hoping someone finishes their meal so they can swoop in and claim a table.

Fortunately, if you do manage to grab one, the dining room is air conditioned, comfortable, and has restrooms located inside the dining area, making it a welcome escape from the Florida heat.
My favorites:
- Warm baguette with butter
- Ham and cheese tart
- Fresh sandwiches
- Pretty much any pastry that catches your eye

Why it’s ranked #1: Outstanding food from breakfast through dessert makes Les Halles one of the very best values—and best meals—in EPCOT.
2. Regal Eagle Smokehouse (American Adventure)

This might actually be my most underrated quick service restaurant in EPCOT.
I’m always a little disappointed that I don’t eat here more often, mostly because my travel buddy isn’t nearly as enthusiastic about barbecue as I am. If I had my way, we’d probably stop here almost every trip.

Regal Eagle serves exactly what you’d hope for: hearty barbecue with generous portions that actually leave you feeling full. Whether you order one of the barbecue platters or my personal favorite—the sliced Texas beef brisket sandwich served on garlic toast—it’s consistently one of the most satisfying meals in the park.
Don’t overlook the sides, either.

The baked beans with burnt ends are excellent, and I almost always end up ordering them. They also rotate some fun specialty drinks, including frozen lemonade-style beverages that are especially refreshing during the summer.
Dessert is where my opinion differs from a lot of people.
The s’mores brownie gets quite a bit of attention online, and while it’s perfectly good, I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. If someone ordered one to share, I’d happily eat it again, but it’s not the reason I come to Regal Eagle.

The barbecue absolutely is.
My favorites:
- Sliced Texas beef brisket sandwich
- Barbecue platters
- Baked beans with burnt ends
- Frozen specialty lemonades
Why it’s ranked #2: Consistently delicious barbecue, generous portions, and some of the most satisfying comfort food you’ll find anywhere in EPCOT.
3. La Cantina de San Angel (Mexico Pavilion)

It took me much longer than it should have to finally eat here.
The only reason I kept skipping La Cantina de San Angel was because I was busy working my way through the Mexico Pavilion’s excellent table service restaurants instead. Once I finally gave the quick service location a try, I wondered why I had waited so long.
On my first visit, I ordered the taco trio, and it was fantastic. The meat was incredibly flavorful, and the rice and beans rounded out the meal nicely. The menu also includes beef and shrimp bowls, empanadas, nachos, and other Mexican favorites, making it a great option whether you’re looking for a full lunch or something a little lighter.

The location is another huge selling point.
The covered outdoor seating overlooks World Showcase Lagoon, so you get beautiful views while you eat. It’s not air conditioned, but there are fans that make it much more comfortable than you’d expect. If you need a break from the heat, you can also head inside the adjacent pavilion for air conditioning, and the nearby restrooms for La Hacienda de San Angel are incredibly convenient.

One bonus tip: if you time your meal just right, this can actually be a fantastic place to watch the nighttime fireworks while you eat.
It takes a little planning, but it’s one of the better dining views in EPCOT.

My favorites:
- Taco trio
- Beef and shrimp bowls
- Covered waterfront seating

Why it’s ranked #3: Great Mexican food paired with one of the prettiest quick service dining locations in EPCOT.
4. Sunshine Seasons (The Land Pavilion)

Sunshine Seasons is one of those restaurants that I don’t think gets nearly enough love.
Part of that is because it’s tucked away inside The Land Pavilion, and part of it is because most people are either rushing to Soarin’ or Living with the Land and don’t even think about stopping here. But honestly? It’s one of the most dependable quick service restaurants in EPCOT.

I’ve actually eaten quite a few different things here over the years.
Snack-wise, they have some really great desserts. The Mickey-shaped Strawberry Lemonade Macaron is adorable and delicious, and the Turtle Brownie is another one I would absolutely order again. My friend also used to love the Chocolate Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie whenever it was on the menu.

But that’s not all I’ve eaten here.
Because of where Sunshine Seasons is located, I’ve found myself here more than once because…well…my blood sugar was dropping. 😂 Sometimes you just need real food, and this area of EPCOT doesn’t exactly have a lot of options.

One thing I’ve grabbed several times is the little hummus snack pack with crackers and vegetables. It’s not exciting, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I’ve also had the Caprese Sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, basil pesto, and a side salad, and that was surprisingly good too.

The menu changes pretty often, but I’ve always found the food here to be consistently solid.
Honestly though, one of the biggest reasons I rank Sunshine Seasons this high has nothing to do with the food.
It’s air conditioned.
There are tons of tables.
The seating is actually comfortable.
The restrooms are literally right there.
There’s even a water bottle refill station nearby.
After you’ve been walking around World Showcase for hours, this is a really nice place to sit down, cool off, refill your water bottle, and eat a decent meal before heading back out into the Florida heat.
My take: Is it the best food in EPCOT? Probably not. Is it one of the best places to actually take a break and enjoy lunch? Absolutely.
5. Katsura Grill (Japan Pavilion)

I really liked Katsura Grill.
The first thing you’ll notice isn’t even the food—it’s the location.
It’s tucked back behind the main pathway in the Japan Pavilion, overlooking the koi ponds and beautiful gardens. It’s quiet, relaxing, and honestly feels like you’re a world away from the crowds walking around World Showcase.
I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, and I’d describe it exactly like this:

It’s good chicken teriyaki.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
It’s not trying to be fancy, but it’s fresh, it’s filling, and if you’re looking for a protein-forward meal that doesn’t leave you feeling like you need a nap afterward, this is a great option.
They also have udon noodles, sushi, and miso soup if those are more your thing.

I did try the Strawberry Bao Bun dessert while we were there.
It was…okay.
I wouldn’t order it again.
Not because it was bad, but because there are just so many better desserts in EPCOT that I’d rather save my stomach space for one of those instead.

My take: Come for the peaceful location and the solid lunch. Skip the bao bun and save room for another dessert somewhere else in World Showcase.
6. Sommerfest (Germany Pavilion)

Sommerfest has a tiny menu, which honestly makes ordering pretty easy.
I’ve tried two of the three main items.
The pretzel?

Loved it.
Seriously, it’s one of my favorite pretzels in Disney World.
I’ve also had the bread pudding, and while I wouldn’t rank it among my favorite desserts in EPCOT, I thought it was really good. It’s not something I’d specifically come back for, but if someone wanted to split one, I’d happily help.

The only thing I haven’t tried is the bratwurst.
That being said, I’ve had the bratwurst inside Biergarten, and it was excellent. Since it’s basically the same sausage, I have absolutely no reason to think the Sommerfest version wouldn’t be good too.
The only downside here is the seating.
There isn’t much of it, and it’s all outside.
Thankfully, it’s outside in one of the prettiest courtyards in EPCOT, so if you’re going to eat outdoors, Germany isn’t a bad place to do it.
My take: Don’t overthink it. Get the pretzel.
7. Crêpes À Emporter (France Pavilion)

Apparently France just refuses to make bad food.
Much like Les Halles, this is one of those places where the menu is pretty small, but everything I’ve tried has been excellent.
I’ve had the Nutella and chocolate crêpe, and it was fantastic.
When I ate next door at La Crêperie de Paris, I also tried the ham, cheese, and béchamel galette, which is available in a similar version from the walk-up window. That was excellent too.

So really, it comes down to one question.
Sweet or savory?
You honestly can’t go wrong either way.
Another thing I like is that this place works any time of day.
Breakfast?
Sure.
Lunch?
Absolutely.
Dessert?
Definitely.
It’s one of the more versatile snack stops in EPCOT.
My take: If you’re walking through France and even remotely considering getting a crêpe…just get the crêpe.
8. Yorkshire County Fish Shop (United Kingdom Pavilion)

Okay…full disclosure.
I haven’t technically ordered from Yorkshire County Fish Shop.
I have, however, eaten the exact same fish and chips from Rose & Crown.
So I’m counting it.
The fish is crispy, the fries are good, and if fish and chips are your thing, this is kind of a no-brainer.
The only real downside is that seating is limited and entirely outdoors.
But honestly, if you want fish and chips in EPCOT, this is where I’d send you.
My take: Simple menu. Solid food. Exactly what you’d expect.
9. Kabuki Cafe (Japan Pavilion)

Technically, this is more of a snack stand.
I’m counting it anyway.
My rule for this list was simple: if it has enough protein that I’d actually eat it instead of lunch, it counts.
Kabuki Cafe definitely qualifies.
The sushi is good.
Not amazing.
Not sushi restaurant good.
I’d compare it to really good supermarket sushi, and honestly…that’s perfectly fine for a theme park.
The real star here, though, is the kakigori.
If you’ve ever been to Hawaii, think shave ice.
You can choose different flavors, add sweet milk if you want, throw on toppings, and suddenly you have one of the most refreshing snacks in EPCOT.
Especially when it’s 95 degrees outside.
My take: Come for the kakigori. Stay for the sushi if you need something with a little protein.
10. Tangerine Cafe (Morocco Pavilion)

I almost didn’t include Tangerine Cafe because most people know it as one of EPCOT’s festival locations.
But there’s one thing they almost always have.
The Moroccan stone bread with the hummus, chermoula, and zaalouk dips.
I’ve had it, and it’s really good.
It’s one of those snacks that’s surprisingly filling without feeling heavy.
One thing you’ll probably notice throughout this list is that I haven’t eaten every single thing on every menu.
Honestly…I don’t know how anyone could.
EPCOT has so much food between the permanent restaurants and the festivals that I’d rather recommend the things I’ve actually eaten than pretend otherwise.
The bread and dips have a great reputation for a reason.
My take: If you’re looking for something a little different than burgers and fries, this is a great choice.
11. Lotus Blossom Cafe (China Pavilion)

I’ve only had the chicken pot stickers here, but they were pretty good.
The rest of the menu is mostly Chinese-American favorites like orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and fried rice.
Nothing here screams “you absolutely have to eat this.”
But if someone in your group is craving Chinese food, it’s a perfectly respectable option.
The biggest selling point?
Indoor seating.
Air conditioning.
Dedicated restrooms.
Sometimes that’s enough to move a restaurant higher on my list than the food alone would.
12. Connections Eatery

If someone in your family just wants a burger or pizza…
This is where you go.
I’ve had the burger.
It was…fine.
That’s really the best word I have for it.
I didn’t dislike it.
I also haven’t found myself thinking about it since.
The biggest advantages here are the location near the front of the park and the huge air-conditioned dining room.
It’s convenient.
Sometimes that’s all you need.
13. Pizza al Taglio (Italy Pavilion)

This one was honestly kind of a letdown.
The pizza isn’t bad.
The problem is that it’s sitting just a few steps away from Via Napoli, which serves some of the best pizza anywhere in Walt Disney World.
That’s a tough act to follow.
If you’ve had Via Napoli before, this just isn’t going to compare.
There also isn’t really a dedicated seating area, so unless you get lucky and find a shaded table nearby, you may end up balancing your pizza while standing around World Showcase.
My take: It’ll work in a pinch, but if I have time, I’m picking Via Napoli every single time.
My Final Thoughts on EPCOT Quick Service Restaurants
If there’s one thing I’ve learned after eating my way around EPCOT over multiple trips, it’s this:
Don’t overplan your meals.
I know…that probably sounds strange coming from someone who literally writes Disney food guides. 😂 But hear me out.
EPCOT is the one park where your plans are almost guaranteed to change.
Maybe you walk past Les Halles and suddenly decide that warm baguette smells too good to pass up.
Maybe you weren’t planning on stopping in Japan, but now you’re standing there with a giant cup of kakigori.
Or maybe you visit during one of EPCOT’s festivals and accidentally eat your way through three food booths before you ever make it to lunch.
It happens.
In fact, that’s probably one of the biggest differences between EPCOT and the other three Disney World parks.
Don’t Forget About the Festivals
Even without the festivals, EPCOT already has an incredible food scene.
You have amazing table service restaurants.
Great quick service restaurants.
Fantastic bakeries.
Snack stands.
Dessert shops.
Then Disney somehow adds four festivals every year with dozens of additional food booths.
It’s honestly a little ridiculous…in the best possible way.
One thing I’ve learned is that those festival booths can fill you up much faster than you expect.
For me, two or three festival booths is usually the equivalent of eating an entire meal.
That’s why I usually recommend picking one really good quick service meal during the day and then sharing a few festival booths later. You still get to experience the festival food without realizing halfway through the afternoon that you’re completely stuffed.
My Top Recommendations
If you’re only going to eat at one quick service restaurant during your trip…
Go to Les Halles.
It’s my favorite for a reason.
Whether you want breakfast, lunch, a pastry, dessert, or honestly just a warm baguette with butter, it’s one of those places I find myself coming back to almost every single trip.
If you want the biggest, heartiest meal, I’d head to Regal Eagle Smokehouse.
If you’re looking for somewhere to cool off and recharge for a while, Sunshine Seasons is hard to beat.
And if you want something a little different than the typical Disney burger and fries, I’d put La Cantina de San Angel and Katsura Grill near the top of your list.
Honestly, though, there aren’t many bad choices in EPCOT.
There are definitely some restaurants I like better than others, but this is one park where the food is consistently good almost everywhere you go.
The hardest part usually isn’t finding something good to eat.
It’s deciding what to skip until your next trip.
