Step Two: Turn the coloring page into a line drawing
Draw lines in each of the separate lined areas. Pay close attention to keep the lines within the right areas. To make your line drawing even more interesting, change up the line pattern. You can really add interesting elements to your coloring page. Keep doing this until you are finished with the entire page.
Step Three: Get to Coloring!
Color the pumpkin orange (or any color you prefer), the stem brown or green and the background a bold color! The two example pages have blue and purple backgrounds. But really, any bold color would make the pumpkin pop.
Step Four: Frame your Jack-O-Lantern Line Drawing
Once finished, cut the excess border off the template and glue your line drawing onto black construction paper or cardstock. The black cardstock will frame your Jack-O-Lantern line drawing. Alternatively, you could print this coloring page in half size and turn these coloring pages into unique and fun Halloween cards!
