Perryville Community Park

Did you know that Great Wolf Lodge is not the only place worth visiting in Perryville?

This playground and park was such a lovely surprise! The playground itself has tons of unique play features, to include the aeroglider, a zipline, tons of swings, climbing play features and more!

But the thing that makes this park stand out is it’s basically surrounded by water! Yep, Perryville Community Park stands out like a thumb (or small peninsula). You can enjoy the view from benches and picnic tables along the waterfront. Or, you can talk down the fishing pier for a closer look. There is also a boat and kayak launch.

The rest of the park is gorgeous with paved walking trails and even a story trail sponsored by Cecil County Library.

Restrooms: port a potties in season.

Brantwood Regional Park

Brantwood Park

Brantwood Regional Park is a newer park. It was developed in 2018 on the site of a former golf course.

The park itself is lovely, with wide, paved walking trails (formerly for golf carts), a story trail courtesy of the Cecil County Library, and a disc golf course.

The playground is spectacular. There are swings for older kids, younger kids, and kids with accessibility needs. Plus there is a 3-person swing, a disc swing, merry-go-round play feature, and a zipline!

And.. on top of that there are loads of climbing play features, slides, and more.

I love the attention to detail at this park. Look for all the animals carved into the playground!
