Alfred B Hilton Memorial Park
The playground is great for climbers and includes a rock wall, log structure, tall twisty slide, monkey bars, a mock cannon, and a cut out prop of a soldier.
The playground has a Civil War theme in honor of Alfred B. Hilton. A Medal of Honor Recipient, he was born and raised in Harford County and his descendants remain today. Hilton died during the Civil War fighting for the Union Army. It’s incredible that his memory lives on with both the park and the Sgt. Alfred B. Hilton Memorial Foundation.

Shamrock Park
Located a short walk from the Bel Air Library, this playground is a perfect spot to play before or after your library visit.
Tips for your trip: Two small playground structures with a twisty slide, double slide, and regular slide. There are three animals to climb. A few metal ladders for climbing and stairs/platforms to the slides. There are traditional swings and baby swings.

Friends Park
The new playground at Friends Park is officially open. This has always been one of our favorite places for a nature and fun filled outdoor adventure in Harford. The new train themed playground is situated further away from the road and closer to the pavilion.
There’s a twisty slide, small rock wall, climbing tunnel, twisty slide, and a few interactive panels. The flooring is now a soft rubberized material and incorporates the train theme. A great park for younger kids especially!

Millard-Tydings Memorial Park
Millard-Tydings Park is also called Concord Point Park. The entire park is lovely… plenty of picnic tables, space to run around, and a fantastic playground. This playground is really huge with loads of fun features for younger and older kids. Also, it’s right on the water so the views are gorgeous!
There are public restrooms.

Churchville Recreation Center
It is a great playground for both younger and older kids. It’s not very big, but still keeps our kids entertained and has all the essentials! There are swings for all ages, multiple slides, several climbing obstacles, and everyone’s favorite is the large caterpillar climbing structure🐛.
There is a large pavilion right next to the playground. They also have a huge parking lot, so parking is never an issue even if there are classes/activities being held at the facility.
The swing area and a portion of the playground are shaded for hotter days☀️

The Grove at Harford
The Grove’s farm themed playground was the best
The playground is great for climbers and for little ones. There is a tractor for climbing, corn stalks, ladders, a twisty slide and a tunnel slide. The two platforms are barn themed and include additional climbing features.
Even with all it has to offer, the kids favorite part was the farm animal sound sensory panel. You spin the wheel, place your hand on the button, and it plays the animal sound.
The playground is a short walk on the new trail located next to The Grove market.
There are restrooms in the Marketplace.

Fox Meadows Playground
This playground resembles a treehouse and has quite a few climbing options. If you have kids that love to climb, this one is for you! There are two structures and both have a similar woodland theme. The smaller of the two is perfect for young ones!
There was a huge pavilion and walking paths that surround the athletic fields.
Everything is so realistic and even has woodland creatures hidden throughout the structures for kids to find🦊
Being that it is a smaller playground, you won’t find the typical swings, monkey bars, etc., but there is still plenty to keep kids entertained and lets them explore🌳

Annie’s Playground
Annie’s Playground has officially reopened, and the renovations are seriously impressive! The design blends the original charm with tons of exciting new features—making this an inclusive, adventure-filled space for kids of all ages.

Rockfield Creative
Located in Bel Air, Rockfield Creative Playground is a sprawling, fenced-in wooden play space that has something for every age and interest. The entire area is well-shaded, with plenty of benches and a pavilion nearby for relaxing or enjoying a picnic.

Lyn Stacie Getz Creative Playground
You know a playground is going to be oodles of fun when it was designed by kids! Yep, this creative playground was designed in part by area kids so there are a ton of fun features. My daughter loved the tire swing, all the slides, the see saw, and the sandbox. There are towers, tunnels, and bridges that would be great for a game of tag or hide and go seek!
This park is fully enclosed and there are great play features for older kids and really young kids too! For parents there are benches around the fence line, some shaded, some not.

Rock Glenn Park
Rock Glenn Park is now open and features a bright, patriotic-themed playground that’s great for kids who love to climb and slide. The main structure includes three slides, climbing obstacles, a bouncy bridge, and two playhouses for imaginative fun.

- 🏀 Basketball and pickleball courts are available (or coming soon!)

is scenic park offers something for everyone, with stunning waterfront views, a huge nautical-themed playground, and plenty of shaded picnic spots to make it a full-day adventure.
