The Best Splurges at Disney World That Are Worth The Money

Disney vacations aren’t cheap, but sometimes spending that little bit extra is worth it! These are the best splurges at Disney World that are worth the money!

Disney is so expensive, and it’s not shocking that most people want to do everything they can to save money on their Disney World vacation. However, some great splurges can make your Disney vacation way more special. You don’t have to purchase a home in Golden Oak, get married at Cinderella Castle, or rent the Tower of Terror for your private party to enjoy some of the many splurges that you can purchase at Disney. Here are some of the best Disney splurges that will be worth your money.

Grab a Water Park Ticket

If you’re going to splurge on something, get a ticket or two to the water parks that Disney has to offer! They are so much fun and will provide you a chance to cool off and have some fun during your not-park days. So many of them are just a short bus ride away and an afternoon of fun and Disney magic.

Eat at a Signature Dining Restaurant

Disney food can be pretty pricey, and there is no shortage of different restaurants around and in the parks. However, I highly suggest checking out one of Disney’s Signature or Fine Dining Restaurants. Victoria and Albert’s, California Grill, or any of the other Signature dining options are going to be some of the best food you can get in Disney and a fun experience that you won’t soon forget.

Sit Down for a Dinner Show

At Disney, we have a tendency just to go and go. But if you take the time to sit down for one of their many dinner shows, you will experience a great hour or two of entertainment, delicious food, and a fun experience that is well worth the $38+ you’ll spend on a seat. My top picks would be Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Attend a Disney After Hours Event

If you aren’t a morning person or don’t think you’ll get your money’s worth at one of the special ticketed events, think again! Disney After Hours gives you three extra hours in the park after they close! This means that you can get a whole park experience with little to no wait time and a fun chance to see some fantastic characters! For example, the Villains after-hours event can let you see Maleficent, Jafar, Oogie Boogie, and other villains you don’t usually see in the parks.

Upgrade to Deluxe

If you get the chance to go deluxe, you should! Disney has eight deluxe resorts to choose from, and each one has fantastic views, rooms, dining, and more! The locations are close to the many parks and can be a great experience if you like to spend a lot of time at your resort. The pools are way better, the service is fantastic, and sometimes you can be within walking distance of a park!

If you’re going to splurge a little on Disney, here are some ideas that will make your trip so much better and be the kind of splurge that will create memories your family will remember forever.
