Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Review

Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian Resort

Some Disney lounges feel like a thing you do. Enchanted Rose felt more like a place you land at the end of the night.

We came here tired, feet sore, park-brain fully fried after a long day at Magic Kingdom. And the second we walked in, the energy shifted. Quieter. Softer. Slower. It felt grown-up in a way that still worked inside Walt Disney World—which is honestly harder to pull off than it sounds.

If you’re expecting something loud, flashy, or aggressively themed, Enchanted Rose is not that. This lounge is elegant. Calm. Understated. And it’s probably one of my favorite “end of the night” spots anywhere on Disney property.

First Impressions (aka: This Is Not a Cartoon Lounge)

Enchanted Rose replaced Mizner’s Lounge, and I think that’s important context. This space was never meant to be goofy or whimsical. It was always going to skew refined.

The theming pulls from the Beauty and the Beast live-action film, not the animated version—and that distinction matters. You’re not walking into a scene full of enchanted objects or Mrs. Potts staring at you from the bar. Instead, the references are subtle. Think French furnishings, classical Baroque design touches, and quiet nods to Beast’s castle rather than obvious character callouts.

Honestly? It works. Especially here.

The Grand Floridian is already formal by Disney standards, and Enchanted Rose fits the resort instead of fighting it.

The Three Seating Areas (and Why They All Feel Different)

One of the best things about Enchanted Rose is that it doesn’t feel like one big room. It’s broken up into spaces that each have their own personality.

The Garden Room

This is the most “themed” area, and it’s gorgeous without being cheesy. The glass dome ceiling immediately draws your eye up, and the magical rose—yes, a real rose under glass—sits front and center.

The Garden Room is inspired by Beast’s Garden Terrace, and it really does feel softer and more romantic than the rest of the lounge. If you’re a fan of the film, this is probably where you’ll want to sit first.

The Formal Library Bar

This area feels moodier and more traditional. Dark woods, leather seating, and a very “formal library” vibe. It’s here that the Beast’s castle inspiration shows up the most, but again, in a quiet way.

This is a great place to actually sit at the bar, order a drink, and talk. No distractions. No noise. Just a really solid lounge atmosphere.

The Outdoor Patio

If it’s open, take it.

The outdoor patio is one of those places that feels slightly hidden, even though it’s right there. It’s peaceful, breezy, and a nice reset after the parks. If you’ve been surrounded by people all day, this is the spot that makes your shoulders drop about two inches.

Let’s Talk About the Food (Because It’s Actually Good)

We ordered a couple of items to share, fully expecting “fine lounge snacks.” Instead, everything was genuinely good.

The truffle fries deserve their own moment. Crispy, well-seasoned, not greasy, and absolutely the right choice if you’re ordering food here. They’re the kind of fries you keep reaching for even when you’re technically full.

The crab dip was also a standout. Warm, creamy, and served in a way that actually feels shareable. Not an afterthought. Not skimpy. Just solid.

The hummus was another quiet surprise. Smooth, flavorful, and not overly garlicky, it felt fresh and well-balanced rather than like an obligatory “safe” menu item. It’s an easy share if you want something lighter to snack on alongside drinks.

There are more elevated options too—like white sturgeon caviar—which feels very on-brand for this resort. We didn’t go that route this time, but it’s nice to see a lounge menu that ranges from casual snacks to splurge territory.

Drinks and Signature Cocktails

This isn’t a novelty cocktail menu. You’re not getting flashing ice cubes or over-the-top garnishes here.

The signature cocktails lean refined and balanced, with subtle references to true love, the forever rose, and other film-inspired elements. They fit the room. They fit the resort. And they’re easy to sip slowly—which is kind of the point of this place.

Wine and spirits are well-represented too, so even if cocktails aren’t your thing, you’ll still find something that works.

Who Enchanted Rose Is Perfect For

This lounge is especially great if you:

  • Want a calm place after a park day
  • Are doing a monorail resorts evening
  • Prefer elegant over playful theming
  • Love Beauty and the Beast but don’t need it shoved in your face
  • Want to talk without yelling

It’s also a great first lounge if you’re easing into Disney lounges and don’t want something overwhelming.

Final Thoughts: A Really Lovely Way to End the Night

Enchanted Rose felt like a deep breath at the end of the day.

The theming is thoughtful. The food is better than expected. And the atmosphere is exactly what you want when your feet hurt and your brain is done. It doesn’t try to impress you—it just quietly does.

Would I come back? Absolutely. Next time I’d probably try a different cocktail and linger a little longer. It’s the kind of place that feels different depending on your mood, your seat, and the time of night.

If you’re anywhere near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Enchanted Rose is worth your time—especially when the parks feel like a lot.
