1. Wisp Resort

2. Roundtop Mountain Resort
Roundtop Mountain Resort Snow Tubing features up to 10 large tubing lanes. The runs are 800′ long and have a vertical drop of 80′. You don’t have to walk up the hill afterwards because Roundtop has a covered Magic Carpet lift that takes you back up to the top of the hill! Roundtop has a snowmaking team that ensures there is plenty of snow for tubing. Guests must be 42″ or taller to tube the main hill.
Kiddie Tubing is a special area for guests 41″tall and under. Smaller child-sized tubes are a great fit for younger tubers. Parents and kids either walk back up, or parents can pull their child back up in the tube. Parent’s are asked not to ride tubes in this area as it is designed with smaller guests in mind.
3. Massanutten Resort
Massanutten Resort in Virginia is a great destination for winter sports (and they have an indoor water park too!). Snow Tubing is pure, fresh-air fun that nearly everyone can enjoy! They offer both solo snow tubing lanes and lanes where you can link up with friends to ride together, if the conditions allow. The tubing hill features up to 16 lanes that are 900’ in length and offer a drop of 120 vertical feet. Massanutten recently added a second conveyor lift allowing more people to enjoy Snow Tubing with less waiting on busy days.
4. Liberty Mountain Resort
If you are looking for good old fashioned wintertime fun, head straight to snow tubing at the Bubly Tube Park!
Liberty has a special Kiddie Tubing area for kids under 41″ tall. Tickets are typically for a 2 hour session and it is highly recommended to purchase in advance because they do sell out.
5. Heritage Hills Resort in York, PA
Bring the family for a day of laughs and thrills on the hill at AvalancheXpress this winter. Enjoy all-day snow tubing and ice skating (open limited hours) at The Rink at AvalancheXpress. The hill at AvalancheXpress is about 80ft. tall and the number of lanes open varies depending on the conditions of the snow. They also have a lift to take you back up the hill!
6. Whitetail Resort
Adventure Snow Tubing is sold in 2 hour sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. You can make advance reservations online and it’s highly recommended as Whitetail Snowtubing definitely sells out.
All Snow Tubing tickets are sold in advance and online ONLY and begin at the top of every hour.
All riders must be at least 42” tall to ride the large runs. A special “Kiddie” tubing run is available for children 41” tall and under through the purchase of a “Kiddie Tubing” ticket.
7. Camelback Snowtubing
Camelback is amazing. They offer over 40 lanes for tubing and even have nighttime snowtubing with glowing snowtubing lanes at Galactic snowtubing. Like many of the other resorts, Camelback offers Magic Carpets to bring you back up to the top of the hill. Snowtubing sessions are two hours long and start every hour on the hour.
8. Blue Mountain Resort
Another fantastic snowtubing destination in the Poconos. The Blue Mountain Snow Tubing Park is home to the longest AND fastest lanes in PA! Fly down up to 46 lanes each over 1,000 feet long! The park is serviced by 3 lifts so the fun never stops! Choose between a single tube or double the fun and grab a friend to ride together in our new double tubes!
9. Blackwater Falls State Park Sled Run
Not technically a snow tubing location, but soooo much fun anyway! Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia offers the longest sled run on the East Coast. Wow right? And this is definitely a location to go snowtubing near DC because it’s an easy day trip from most of Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
Tickets are valid for one two-hour session. The sled run closes for one hour between each session. You must purchase tickets in advance as well.

Another great snowtubing location in West Virginia, Canaan Valley Resort State Park has a super fun snowtubing park with runs up to 1200 ft long! It is the longest multi-lane snow tubing park in the Mid-Atlantic region. Snowtubing sessions are two hours long and they also have a Magic Carpet to bring tubers back to the top of the hill.
