Every summer Maryland celebrates their homegrown creameries with Maryland’s Ice Cream Trail. Maryland Dairy Farms have to offer ice cream from the cows they have on their farm.

My daughter and I have been to almost all of the creameries and if you accept this challenge too, you will be in for such sweet treat!

Prigel Family Creamery

Prigel Family Creamery in Glen Arm, MD scoops up some amazingly creamy ice cream. You can hang out with the cows and enjoy the farm.

Located in Middletown, MD is probably the most well-known of the Maryland Creameries… and with good reason. There are also other treats in store at the creamery.

South Mountain Creamery

Rocky Point Creamery

This is located in Tuscarora, MD. There are so many delicious flavors to choose from. Kids will love playing on the gigantic John Deere Tractor Playground.

A Harford County institution and has a large and loyal following. Because the ice cream is phenomenal and they offer a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Located in Bel Air, MD.

Broom’s Bloom Dairy

Keyes Creamery

Keyes Creamery in Aberdeen is phenomenal. Their ice cream is made from the milk of grass-fed cows which are milked twice a day to produce the ice cream that is made fresh.
