Fun Things to Do With Kids- By Location

If you are a parent living in the greater DC-Baltimore Area and you have young children, you are likely both excited and overwhelmed by the stunning array of choices for fun thing to do with kids in the area. The problem is that many times something that is billed as ‘family friendly’ is really only family friendly if your kids are above a certain age (in most cases 4 or 5 years old). When our daughter was born I searched and searched for honest reviews of places that took the needs of young children into consideration.

I didn’t find very much.

So, I have started to compile that resource myself. It is truly a work in progress, mostly because a) it takes time to actually visit the places and b) it takes even more time to write an in-depth review. However, my goal is to eventually amass a comprehensive guide for any parent struggling between the competing needs to stave off cabin fever and not fall victim to the never-ending temper tantrum fest of overstimulated toddlers.
