While you might have fun just basking in the fresh woodsy air, your kids won’t feel the same way. Bring lots of things to keep them entertained and keep them occupied while you’re in between activities.

2. Pre Cook food for easy campfire food

Trying to cook while your kids are running around a hot fire is just a recipe for disaster! Instead, do a lot of the precooking ahead of time so you can have everything you need right there at the campsite!

This has been a huge lifesaver, especially with smaller kids! Use Ziploc bags to store your clothes. This will keep them away from the woods and allow your kids to easily grab a fresh pair of clothes when they need one.
